The time to create is always different for everyone. There is a belief that the creative act should be enjoyable, this is partly true and partly not. My personal experience with painting has shown me that the feeling of satisfaction if it comes, comes with time, ie when things are going well, while everything is a fight to the canvas and then it goes badly.
